CSTE 2025 featured five keynote speeches
delivered by internationally renowned
scholars. These thought-provoking
presentations addressed emerging trends and
foundational challenges in the integration
of computer science and educational
technologies. Topics ranged from profiling
student engagement and enhancing learning
outcomes to the ethical dimensions of AI
deployment in education. The keynote
sessions served as intellectual anchors for
the conference, sparking vibrant discussions
among attendees. In addition to the keynote
sessions, the conference hosted sixteen
invited talks by distinguished experts from
China, the United States, Japan, and other
regions. These presentations offered deep
insights into topics such as the use of
generative AI in K–12 and higher education,
cultivating AI literacy, theory-driven large
language models for explainable feedback,
and fostering creativity in human-AI
collaboration. The diversity of perspectives
and domains enriched the academic dialogue
and highlighted the global scope of
innovation in educational technologies.
In total, 30 parallel sessions were
organized—16 on-site and 14 online—where
more than 200 authors presented their latest
research. Topics ranged from educational
data mining, intelligent tutoring systems,
computational thinking development, to XR
technologies in learning environments. A
poster session was also introduced this
year, adding new opportunities for
interactive discussion and visual
presentation.
