Special Session 1: Learning Engagement and Learning Behavior Modeling
Brief Description:
Learning engagement is both a variable that can be shaped by the environment and a strong predictor of student interest, academic achievement,
and learning retention. Over the past two decades, academic interest in learning engagement has grown steadily, forming a stable and productive
research field. This special session has been continuously held at the GCCCE conference for six years, taking place at Northwest Normal University
in 2020; The Education University of Hong Kong, Beijing Normal University, Taiwan Normal University, and the National Institute of Education,
Nanyang Technological University in 2021; National Tsing Hua University, The Education University of Hong Kong, and East China Normal University in 2022;
Beijing Normal University in 2023; Southwest University in 2024; and Jiangnan University in 2025. Over these years, it has accepted over 170 high-quality papers,
establishing considerable influence. We aim to facilitate in-depth interaction, professional discussion, and future collaboration through this special session,
hoping to spark intellectual exchange and consolidate outcomes in the field of data-driven teaching.
